This is by far the best jiu jitsu, wrestling and grappling program I have ever come across And it’s not even close. Yet I have been in the local martial arts scene since 1998. My 17-year-old son started training with Professor Benn/Mastermind when he was 14 And was crushing it learning wrestling and jiu jitsu, becoming undefeated. Then he decided to start highschool wrestling as a sophomore in HS and due to Mastermind, he was able to make team captain and place in state by his 2nd year in highschool wrestling all due to Mastermind comprehensive grappling curriculum. There’s literally no reason to go anywhere else you get every type of world class grappling you can imagine. This is the best, accept no substitutes.

One of the best jiu jitsu schools in the PNW. Benn Pyne helped me grow as a well rounded jiu jitsu practitioner. One of the best minds in the game right now.

Man. I am usually a striker but learning from the Mastermind Jiu Jitsu team has been a great journey. Everyone is helpful and knowledgeable. The one thing I really appreciate is how dynamic the schedule is and the amount of support you get from all the people on the team.

Mastermind Jiu-Jitsu has been such a great experience for our family. My daughter’s been going for about a year and a half now, and we’ve seen a huge boost not just in her jiu-jitsu skills, but in her confidence too. All the instructors are awesome - Professor Benn and Coaches Alex, Daner, Dragon, and Gavin really connect with the kids, meet them where they’re at, and still push them to improve. I also really appreciate that it’s not overly/ridiculously strict. There’s structure, but still enough flexibility for kids to be themselves while they’re learning. Highly recommend their kids jiu-jitsu class!! Their adult Muay Thai class starts right as the kids class wraps up, and it looks amazing too! Love this gym and everything it offers - the classes and the other providers (chiropractor, pre-hab trainers, etc.). Awesome stuff!!
