I have been training with Cory at CRT for 1 year and have had an excellent experience. I am now way more competant to defend myself. He is very skillful at training people and explaining concepts. His methods are safe, I know I will be able to train without injuring myself. Everyone in the class is supportive and friendly.

From the first lesson, Cory helps the student understand basic ideas, concepts and practices and helps to build these these into a coherent, functional working system that the student/practitioner can grasp and apply in a practical manner. Cory demonstrates consistently a broad and deep knowledge and integration of the principles of Wing Chun and related Martial Arts. Cory presents the topics and materials in a manner that both compels each student to learn, as well as supports their learning by not overwhelming the student with too much new information at one time. I find the methods and teachings very helpful. Cory is both a gentleman and a very polished martial artist. Andy

I’ve been training with Cory since 2019. I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn practical self-defense skills in a fun and welcoming learning environment. Class sizes are small so you can get to know everyone, which I feel is important when learning something as intimate as self-defense training. Cory makes sure everyone is safe as they move out of their comfort zone. He is a great teacher and takes the time to make sure everyone is understanding the material and having a good time. As an assault survivor, these classes have made me feel safe and confident. I now feel capable instead of vulnerable, and that is priceless to me.

I've been training with Cory for about a year now and I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn self defense skills. Cory has impressively broad knowledge when it comes to martial arts and his teaching approach is to give a framework that you can apply in most of settings, whether it is a fight with any kind of weapon or you fighting bare hand. You will learn techniques that work well in any scenario. Cory is always trying to make class to be fun and welcoming to everyone. Group sizes are pretty small and vary 6-10 people which I really like because it gives a chance to connect with everyone.
