Really supportive and welcoming community to learn and practice Sumo. No prior experience is needed, just come with an open mind and a willingness to learn and you'll have a blast!

Super fun, great exercise, really nice folks, the second most fun two naked sweaty people can have! I had never stepped foot inside any kind of martial arts class, self defense course, I hadn't even been to the gym in years, but I was able to immediately get in and have a go at it and have been totally hooked since. Riley the instructor is excellent and was able to teach the concepts and principles to me in a way I was able to grasp and explain some of the cultural aspects as well. It keeps me motivated to work out during the week because I know I'm gonna be wrestling every Sunday. Not only that, but it's good for my mental health and self esteem. I've always been a kind of husky "shirt on in the pool" guy but being in an environment where my body type is not only accepted but celebrated my body image and fitness goals have changed for the better! I go home every week sweaty, bruised and beaming from ear to ear. It's the best. Do yourself a favor and come check it out.

Hard practices with young professionals. Straight to drilling. This is where you want to start your sumo journey. Nothing is sugar coated here. Hard, raw, body to body practices with instruction throughout. Attention to ritual- but the focus is on both the form and athleticism required to step-up everyone’s sumo game. Would definitely recommend.
