Seattle Tae Kwon Do

UPDATED- New management has brought the overall value and professionalism to an entirely new level. My son has never worked harder than he has for Master Dalton. I am eternally grateful to Seattle Tae Kwon Do and Master Dalton, you are changing my son in ways I never imagined possible. I am filled with gratitude! Our son has been attending Seattle Tae Kwon Do for a month and we are so happy with his progress. He loves going to class and every evening talks about the pride he feels doing a good job at Tae Kwon Do. It’s quickly becoming a core part of his identity and his confidence is through the roof. The communication of this organization is next level, as a super busy mom I really appreciate how organized and communicative they are. I would highly recommend Seattle Tae Kwon Do, 5 stars just isn’t enough.

We’ve been part of the Seattle Taekwondo family for over three years now, and I can confidently say it has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our children. Both of my boys, Baraa and Anas, have grown tremendously—not just in their Taekwondo skills, but in their confidence, discipline, and focus. The instructors here are incredibly dedicated, patient, and inspiring. They know how to motivate the children while maintaining respect and structure in every class. It’s clear they genuinely care about each student’s progress, both on and off the mat. Over the years, I’ve watched Baraa and Anas become more confident in themselves, physically stronger, and mentally more resilient. They look forward to every class, and they take pride in what they’ve learned. The atmosphere is always positive, safe, and welcoming—like an extended family. Seattle Taekwondo isn’t just about martial arts—it’s about building character and empowering kids for life. We are beyond grateful for the amazing experience and highly recommend it to any family looking for a place that truly supports children’s growth.

My son has been a Seatttle Tae Kwon Do student since kindergarden. He is now in high school. I can't say enough good things about them. The lessons are beyond self defense. They build character and have been like a family to us. Instructors have been excellent through the years and the other TKD parents were always friendly. Clearly the best.

Seattle Tae Kwon Do is great! We've been coming for over a month and we love it! Our son looks forward to every class and always comes out with a beaming smile! Taking Tae Kwon Do has helped him with his confidence, his energy levels, and even his sleep! Cannot recommend enough!

I had my son enrolled here and it was great in the beginning! Switched owners about a few months in (nearly a year ago) and the new owner was harsh, demeaning and disrespectful. I understand what this program is trying to teach and my children know respect prior to this. The fact that the "Master" can treat children the way he does is outrageous! They tried to renew my contract for a whole year and I told them no. Thankfully that's the only thing they did right, not renew my contract. He threatened to teach my son a curbstomp because he is shy and couldn't remember something. I have videos of him grabbing kids arms and harshly maneuvering them while screaming at them "I NEVER SAID DO IT LIKE THAT. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? DO. IT. LIKE. THIS." Poor kids would get in tears. I will never in a million years refer someone here. Grand Master Dalton needs some anger management and shouldn't be teaching children! Being a military man is no excuse, I've spent time with kinder military men plenty in my life. Additionally, I will never teach my kids to respect someone who disrespects them so blatantly and outrageously! They will still show kindness but they will not call you Sir because you do not deserve it when you're unkind to other humans!
