Great classes with very knowledgeable instructors, and a focus on both the self-defense and philosophy of Shotokan karate. Very welcoming of all ages and skill ranges, and the instructors adjust so that each student gets the most out of their time in class.

Never in my life I would find an amazing karate school like this one ! Been going with them over two year and meet great Sensei and Senpai that Will help you train and become strong and discipline, I learn to love the art of Shotokan and im glad that I join them, they treat you like family and great vibes great people they are fun and love them like a family

This karate dojo was recommended by a coworker and I’m so glad we decided to check it out even though it’s quite far out of our way. My daughter started just over 3 years ago and still enjoys the classes and the friends she’s made there. All the instructors for the kids’ classes are wonderfully patient and encouraging. They promote respect, discipline, “refraining from violent behaviour” and most definitely self-esteem. I highly recommend this dojo if you’re looking for those qualities to be instilled in your kids, besides of course having fun while learning a new skill. I only wish the location was closer to us so we could attend more classes during the week. But that said, the senpais and senseis (plus the very reasonable fees) make it worth the 35-minute AND I405 drive to class every Saturday morning even though she’s not thrilled about getting up early.

This club teaches the best Shotokan style karate in the whole Washington state. Teachers and students are highly skilled, welcoming and kind. Highly recommended to any karateka
