We love JKI!! Our son has been training there for the past 4 years and has grown exponentially in both skill and confidence. The instructors are impactful and classes fun. Love the family-like atmosphere!

My daughter (10 years old) has been attending since October of 2019. The difference I have seen in her in just 4 months has been amazing. She has gained more self confidence and self discipline than I expected in such a short time. The staff at JKI is absolutely amazing. They truly care about your child and help them to develop into the best version of themselves. My daughter loves attending class and loves her dojo family!!

My son has been going to JKI for just over a year now and I literally cannot say enough amazing things about it. Sensei Todd and his instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and patient with my son, who is on the spectrum. I have seen so much growth in him since he first began. His level of focus, confidence, and self discipline have grown tremendously. JKI has been a wonderful fit for my kiddo and I am so thankful to be part of an amazing dojo that emphasizes discipline as well as working toward and achieving goals.

We absolutely love this place!! They are so good with the kids and offer a great variety of classes for all ages on different days. I highly recommend anyone who wants to get into karate! They also offer a fun filled summer camp and amazing after school programs! Seriously can’t beat their prices either!

My children have been attending Japan Karate Institute North Charleston for both after-school care and karate classes, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. The staff are absolutely amazing—caring, professional, and always attentive. The environment is not only safe, but also very nurturing, which gives me peace of mind every day. I also appreciate the open and consistent communication from the team, especially Todd who always makes sure we’re informed and supported. Even when I stop by now, I still feel welcome. It truly feels like a community that values both the children and the families they serve. Highly recommended.
