National Karate MMA

Coach Nate is amazing. My son started in the Lil Ninjas and now he is in the Dragons class. He loves going here and sometimes I have to beg him to go home. The afterschool program is incredibly helpful. My son does his homework with the help of the staff. Their summer program is great too. The children go on day field trips. They are definitely kept busy

We found National Karate MMA in West Ashley this summer and tried out some classes to see if our boys (ages 5 & 8) would be interested. They love it!! The coaches are amazing!! They are so excited to come home and share what skills they've learned. They just moved up in their belt rankings and they are so proud of themselves! They are making tons of new friends. We are thrilled that the coaches reinforce our philosophies of showing respect and living with honor and integrity both inside and outside of the studio. We signed up for the after school program so they pick up the boys from school and I can scoop them up on my way home from work, which is very convenient to our house. The studio even offers Parents' Nights Out and the kids are extremely excited about participating. Be sure to sign up early if you want one of those slots so as not to end up in the Parent Doghouse like I did this month! We could not be happier with this studio and the support and encouragement the boys are receiving. Thanks, Coach Nate, and thanks to all of your wonderful staff!!!

This Karate School is amazing! Our son has been attending Karate Camp there this summer and they are awesome! He loves the staff and all of the activities they plan! I really love their extra careful handling of the Covid-19 crisis. Masks and temperature checks for all of the kids really help my peace of mind! Coach Nate is a really awesome karate instructor as well. He makes fitness a fun part of our son's routine. Also the atmosphere there is great! The kids all seem to get along well and our son has made plenty of new friends!

We love our karate studio!! My daughter has been attending NKMMA/ West Ashley for a few years now for karate, after school care and Summer Camp! We couldn’t be happier and she has been exposed to so many wonderful people! Coach Nate, Miss Oriana and all of the additional staff are exceptional with the kids and what a great outlet to teach your children discipline, respect and self defense all in one?!? They are always so accommodating and provide safe and friendly environment in which I know my child is well taken care of! I am super grateful to have found this organization and would recommend this to anyone with school-aged kiddos!!

My daughter is on her second year with the National Karate after school program and it has been a saving grace to us and our tiny girl. She loves it here & raves about all of the coaches. We love the fun nights that she’s able to attend and get her energy out while mom/dad get to have time to themselves on a Friday night! She’s gotten more confident and it allows her to make more friends between the super cool samurai bus she takes directly from school and the summer camp offered. The price is also very affordable for a dual home income & worth every penny.
