On the phone we were told it would be a “one on one” session, but when we arrived, one on one turned into one on 6. My son has level 3 non verbal autism so I was really excited to get him into something constructive and structured, but we were met with pure ignorance. When we made the “trial class” appointment we were told they had dealt with autism before and wouldn’t be a problem but I didn’t even have enough time for put my stuff down before I was being told to leave. Anyone who knows someone with autism knows, you have to give them a minute. You can’t just expect them to go to a brand new place, with other children(hence why I wanted the one on one), with a stranger telling them what to do & just expect them to listen and fall in line like soldiers. If they would have given me 5 minutes to get him accustomed to where he was, we could have joined the class. But instead, we were met with ignorance and judgement 30 seconds in. My son and I both left in tears. Will not be back & will never recommend.
