Only trained here a couple times but it is clear Scott Huston has developed not only a strong competition team but also fostered a welcoming environment for beginners. The space is amazing and everyone was super friendly. I really appreciate the bjj gym that strikes the perfect balance of formality and being laid back.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at 360. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the positive energy and supportive atmosphere. The instructors are great with kids. They know exactly how to keep classes fun, structured, and engaging. BJJ has taught me a lot about my what my son is capable of. I can’t thank Scott and his staff enough.

My son has trained here for over 2 years…I have noticed improvement in his spatial skills among other good attributes, mainly from the camaraderie and strong instruction. My son has gained not only teammates, but friends off the mat. I was looking for way to be closer to my son and not to coddle him, this was the Best thing I could have ever done for him to develop humility and focus. Truly recommend for any young child who needs strong peers. All the instructors have a keen sense to teach. Truly has changed our lives. Update- Nearing the 3 year mark on training with 360 BBJ. I have asked my son from time to time, checking his volition, the response is overwhelmingly the same. Despite not adventuring to compete like many of the other children in his program, he wants to continue this path for self-defense. These programs offered are two-fold in nature. Self-defense and sport. Every child can benefit from either one. Very Thankful as a parent to have my son enrolled through the years, it has been a lovely pursuit to watch. Truly

My 16 year old Daughter and I joined the 360 team back in January and by May I medaled in my first tournament with only 1 stripe. I credit that purely to Scott's training. We've both had an amazing experience. The gym is very diverse and welcoming. Scott has an unmatched amount of patience, but really knows when to turn up the heat and drive us to the next level. The 360 team members couldn't be more welcoming. It's made up of athletes at all levels and there is always someone willing to roll and match your pace to help you grow. There is no other gym I would recommend more!

I have been training at 360 jiujitsu academy for over two years and I highly recommend it. I used to train Jiujitsu in St Louis, and when I moved back to Wisconsin, 360 was recommended to me by my coach there (a former UFC fighter and accomplished BJJ competitor) as “the place” to train in Wisconsin. He wasn’t wrong. The quality of instruction is easily one of the best in the state. It also has an awesome culture— the focus is on technical, intelligent, clean jiujitsu-- I am always challenged to improve, but I have never felt unsafe. “Meat head” jiujitsu (prioritizing strength and winning at all costs) is actively discouraged. Instead, we are trained to out-think and out-maneuver our opponents, using disciplined application of technique. We are like one big team. It’s a family friendly environment. The kids and teens program is excellent. There is also a competitive lane for those interested (all ages, genders, sizes), which is a great way to test ones skills and gain confidence. At this moment, there is no separate women’s class, though there has been in the past and will likely be in the future. Either way, we have a great group of adult & masters women who attend all the classes based on what our crazy schedules allow (some of us are actively competing, others are not), and there are a bunch of teen women and girls who are currently doing awesome at competitions. We support each other to improve and have been having a lot of fun growing together in all aspects of jiujitsu. The Coaches 360’s coaches are not really into self-promotion. I don’t even know if all of their accomplishments have been listed on the website. Coach Scott, who is the owner/founder, just won a world championship medal at blackbelt in 2022, beating out other extremely skilled opponents from around the globe. He also has coached a lot of well-known MMA fighters. I have watched guys who moved out of state for their MMA careers come back to Scott, explaining that they wanted to receive their jiujitsu promotions only from him because of how much they respect him. Our other coaches… Joe, Mike, Steve… the list continues. They are accomplished in JiuJitsu as well (lots of hardware and titles). Though their personalities differ, in my experience, they possess these similar qualities: very technical (quality of jiujitsu is there), well-intentioned human beings who take their roles seriously and want the best for their students. Final Note One of the things I enjoy about Jiujitsu is the larger Jiujitsu community— I’ve had the chance to drop in at a lot of other gyms, whether to try out my moves on new people and get in some cross-training, or because I was traveling for work and was hungering for a jiujitsu work out. I have found that 360 is known and respected to many. We’ve had team members go out to seminars or train at gyms out of state and come back and share what they’ve learned, which contributes to our learning environment overall. Jiujitsu is a martial art, and it can be intense. It isn’t for everyone. But if you’re into jiujitsu or think you’re interested, and you’re looking for any of the qualities I mentioned, you should come check out 360.
