I have been a member at many gyms across the Milwaukee area. This is by far the most welcoming and community centered fitness arena! So many group classes, free workouts, fun events, and awesome opportunities to not only improve your fitness, but also your mental/emotional/social health. Eternally grateful for the HYROX training classes offered by this gym- I owe a lot of my preparedness and grit to the crew that sweat along side me.

I’ve been going to East Bank Athletic Club for almost a year and a half now, and it’s been an amazing experience! The staff is always friendly and welcoming — the front desk team greets you with positive energy every time you walk in. Jeff does an incredible job keeping the gym updated and adapting to members’ needs. There are so many great amenities — a pool, hot tub, women’s room for exercise, free group classes like yoga and Pilates, plus plenty of cardio and weightlifting options. It’s truly a gym that has something for everyone. If you’re thinking about joining, definitely take a tour today! And if this review was helpful, don’t forget to mention my name — they have a great referral program, and I’ll get a free month! *Downtown parking available*

I visited East Bank today for a free trial and tour. I must say that my favorite part was the employees. The employees at the front desk, especially the employee who gave myself and another guest a tour, were amazing. It also got a bit busy and the manager came out to offer their support up front, which was good to see. I had visited this gym when it was Gold’s gym, and I think the positives still stand. Protein shake bar, pool, basketball court, parking validation, and multiple floors with equipment for almost every type of training. My challenges with the gym are the hours (as I am a night owl) and the set up of the 5th floor. The free weight/cable area has A LOT to offer, but the machine area is a bit chaotic and cramped. Some of the equipment feels like it’s on top of each other. I think they’ve done okay with the space they have, but I also feel like there may be some room for improvement, particularly because the gym is 5 floors. Still 5 stars from me, even with some minor critiques! 95% sure that I’ll be joining.

Hi! Since you asked for a review, I wanted to share honest feedback. Overall, I really like the gym it’s clean, the equipment is great, and the staff has been polite and helpful in my experience. I also chose this location because I have the Social Buddy membership, which allows me to bring a guest. That said, my guest has mentioned feeling stared at in a way that made them feel like he didn’t belong. I personally haven’t had negative interactions, but I think it’s important to share because no member or guest should feel uncomfortable or out of place especially when everyone must scan in to enter and is clearly authorized to be there. One other suggestion: I’d love to see a dedicated stretching area added. Many gyms have a specific space for stretching/mobility, and it would be a great improvement here. Thank you for asking for feedback overall I enjoy the gym and plan to continue my membership.

Great gym! Love the weight room, and the hyrox area is great. Free parking is also super nice downtown. Only thing that I don’t love is the weekend hours, but the weekday hours are good.
