Got my step children in their classes they love the community plus the instructor’s they have are very supportive and encouraging to the students they teaching them the arts of MMA they are capable of learning they are amazing and adorable on the work they’ve learned so far “you must want to understand” to learn and have self life discipline and use defense to protect yourself from all harm so that your offense will come out like a raging tiger, I also grew up learning a thing or two about the MMA/Wrestling also when I played ufc my first pick was an always will be #AnthonyPettis champ

This is one of the most decently run studios I've ever been at. Their instructors are extremely patient helpful and positive with the kids. The older adults are instructed the same way. It's all encouragement and in a way that works probably as good as a negative drill sergeant yelling at you all the time. Trust me. I don't know what happens if you keep getting things wrong because the teaching style is pretty good. Classes are separated by activity and intent. I like that they have a striking class it's a fantastic workout and you have a chance to hone your skills. Haven't seen anybody get hurt in the Jiu-Jitsu training yet so that means the students aren't acting like they're in a tournament. Extremely cool gear for sale and everything's pretty much the same price online. No showers but I wouldn't expect one. My gym is just down the street anyways and I shower there after class. Price is the almost same as my Taekwondo classes 30 years ago (6 month) adjusted for inflation.

Coaches are amazing and the people that go are good to train with. The classes are late enough for me to make it most nights AND they offer classes on Sunday!

Awesome Coaches! Our daughter has been attending Pettis MMA for almost a year now and confidence continues to grow with every class. Friends and Neighbors have noticed and ask us what we’re doing; we tell them to come try Pettis Martial Arts! Thank You coach Brian, Coach Evans, and Coach Garza for all the work you put in with all the kids.

My son has been attending Pettis Martial Arts for about 6 months and I can honestly say it’s the best decision I have ever made for him. Not only is he learning the fundamentals of taekwondo but he is also learning discipline, personal safety and so many other important life lesson. He has made some amazing friends and has really became a part of this community! I can not thank the staff enough for their patience and kindness. They really treat all of the children with so much respect and are so encouraging not only in class but they also encourage all of the children to make good choices at school and home as well! 10/10 would recommend!
