Wisconsin Athletic Club | West Allis
About
This Milwaukee gym offers both MMA and kickboxing training in a facility that members describe as having multiple workout areas, though some note the layout can feel maze-like. The gym provides standard commercial equipment comparable to other facilities, along with amenities like treadmills, a whirlpool, and cold water fountains. Some members express a desire for additional features such as a women's steam room to enhance the experience.
reviewsWhat Members Say
Members consistently praise the exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff, with specific shoutouts to Bella, Krista, Ethan, Zoe, Montrel, and Zach for creating a supportive atmosphere where they feel like they're among friends. Several reviewers mention enjoying the variety of workout areas and amenities like the whirlpool and cold water fountains, though some find the layout confusing. Concerns include the monthly price feeling high for standard commercial gym equipment, initial pricing structures that change after a year, and occasional feelings of discomfort for newcomers. Specific praise highlights Zach's respectful training approach for beginners and Krista's excellent yoga classes.

Been a member for a few years and love this place. The staff quickly become more like pals who cheer you on. Bella rolled a nat 20 on charisma at birth and is always checking on. Montrel is super friend and helpful if you ever need questions. Zach is a great PT whos respectful and supportive of newbies and boundaries. Krista crushes yoga teaching and the biggest smile at the front desk. Overall the staff make this gym magic. PS - the new lights are too damn bright.

I was working out here last week Sunday and I just want to give a huge shout out to Ethan and Zoe, they were super friendly and welcoming! Another too I really enjoyed using the treadmill downstairs and that water fountain down there was nice and cold, and the whirlpool felt really good too.

Would like to give a shout out to the General Manager Ann! She went above and beyond with ensuring that my concern was heard and addressed with a resolution. I appreciated this so much. I do enjoy that there is different areas within the gym to be able to work out.. it does feel like a maze kind of. I wish this gym had a steam room for women, it would be the cherry on top for me. All in all..staff is really nice and welcoming and I would consider this my second home location for my gym.

Not worth it at 90 dollars a month. The Initial price they give you eventually goes away after an year. It's a marketing technique that ATT uses. Gyms equipment is comparable to any other commercial gym btw...dont expect anything extra ordinary lol at that price.
