About

Quest Taekwondo offers training in multiple martial arts disciplines including MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and karate, with a primary focus on World Taekwondo Federation Olympic-style taekwondo. The gym is known for its structured classes that effectively separate age groups, allowing adults to train without interference from younger participants while maintaining a cohesive learning environment for all. Members consistently praise the patient, personalized coaching approach that adapts to individual skill levels and age groups.

reviewsWhat Members Say

Members consistently praise instructor Mike for his patience, personalized teaching approach, and ability to work with students of all ages from young children to adults. Reviewers highlight the welcoming atmosphere where every person is greeted by name and the structured classes that effectively separate age groups for optimal learning. Parents note positive behavioral changes in children who become motivated to earn belts through household responsibilities, and both children and adults maintain enthusiasm for weekly classes even after years of attendance. The only concern mentioned is that the gym focuses on Olympic-style taekwondo rather than MMA, though it offers trial classes to ensure compatibility.

We started taekwondo lessons in January. Mr. Mike is awesome. He greets everyone who comes into the door and takes time to make sure everyone understands what has been taught in class. Character development, structure and personal growth are very much encouraged.

My 6 year old is doing the dishes right now because she wants to earn her next belt. This school is doing wonderful things in our household. Mr. Mike is the most patient and understanding teacher. He meets the kids at their level and works WITH them. We have been attending this school for over a year and the kids are still excited to go every week. I cannot recommend this school enough

I've been going to Quest for almost 2 years now. Classes are generally split up in a way that, as an adult, I can still learn and work-out without worrying about younger children getting in the way. Mike does a great job at teaching people of all ages about Taekwondo, I would highly recommend him to anyone thinking about starting a martial art.

Master Mike is amazing with all levels of kids! When I started my 6 and 8 year olds, he got to know my 4 and 2 year old by name. This sounds like a simple concept but it drew them in and made all 4 of my children comfortable to join class. We have been here for over a year and all 4 kids love it. Master Mike is an incredible teacher! He is patient, kind, funny, and takes the time needed to address disciplinary issues.

Mr Mike is an amazing instructor. Great with everyone from 5 and 6 year old children to 40 something like me. This school focuses on World Taekwondo Federation (Olympic) style. Would not suggest it if you are wanting to do MMA! But you are allowed to try a class or two to make sure that it is a good fit for your needs.
