SDSS Martial Arts of West Hartford

My son has been at this studio since it opened and we couldn’t be happier. Sensai Logan is a special human and the kids love and admire him. He is the perfect combination of fun and discipline.

Our children (ages 4-9) have been attending SDSS for the past 2 years. They love sensi Logan and his teaching style. He is patient and kind and is a great influence on their mental and physical health.

Our 6 year old loves karate at SDSS. Sensei Logan is great with the kids. He prioritizes fun while teaching martial arts fundamentals and core values like discipline and respect. We’re thrilled with the experience so far. Highly recommend.

SDSS West Hartford is our favorite martial arts studio! Sensei Logan provides our two boys with so much more than self defense training. He teaches respect, leadership, team work, honesty, and perseverance at every single lesson. And he does all of this while creating an environment filled with fun and encouragement.

We love SDSS of West Hartford! Our son joined about a year ago as a newly turned 3 year old and he’s come such a long way! Sensei Logan is such a wonderful instructor and really has a way with all his students! He is very patient especially with the younger children and is quite skilled at providing redirection when necessary—offers encouragement and praise when appropriate and is overall a fun human being! Couldn’t have asked for a better person to take on this role. We were so lucky to find such an awesome extracurricular and at a reasonable weekly rate. We’ve participated in weekly sessions, summer camps, and plan to host a birthday party in the near future! Since joining SDSS, our son displays more discipline in his sessions and is less distracted, pays close attention to what is being said and is more confident among his peers. Oh, forgot to mention, Sensei Logan has the best playlists on blast during class! Overall extremely satisfied customer of SDSS, and would highly recommend this business to other families.
