Kawika has over 20 years experience in his field—he is an expert! I have been training with him for several years now (two to three times a week) and he never fails to make every session interesting and challenging. He is very methodical and provides clear instructions on how to perform exercises. In addition to my other workouts, I also box as a form of exercise and he patiently corrects my form. Whether you are a beginner or someone more advanced, I highly recommend Kawika.

Kawika is a very experienced trainer. He is clear in his instructions and takes the time to ensure your form is correct. He makes you feel comfortable while simultaneously pushing you to ensure you get a good workout in. Each session is different and is curated to fit your fitness level. He trains me in both kickboxing and strength training and it's been a blast! Highly recommend!!

Kawika is one of the best! I’ve trained with him since he was at 24hr fitness and have nothing but positive things to share. He’s very knowledgeable in both boxing and lifting and good at motivating you to push for one more rep.

Kawika is a very considerate and thoughtful trainer. As someone who is new to training and restarting a workout routine, he shows me simple workouts and working my way to more weights/rigorous types. He also training me in boxing for more of a full body workout! Highly recommend!

The thought of a trainer terrified me for years. Ask me why? I’m not sure. I’ve always worked out and been athletic but had a period of “life happens” and hadn’t done any sort of training for years. Saw a review of Kawika on a fb page and the way she talked about him, I thought, “I’ll try it.” When I reached out it was extra helpful that everything was so easy. He is a great mix of personable and professional. I was still scared for my first session but it quickly dissolved as Kawika is calm, friendly, and creates an atmosphere of assertive aloha. After training with him for almost 6 months now, he is responsive, flexible and really cares about physical as well as mental health. He often engages with his clients with a “question of the day” which then also makes the physical side of training fun too. Last and not least, beware the deck of cards 🙃 You’ll have to give him a chance and train with him to find out how you never knew what fun a playing card deck could be 😉 I highly recommend Kawika and HSC!
