It doesn't matter if you have a background in martial arts or a complete beginner. K Team has an excellent kids program and trains many adults at varying levels of skills. The amount of attention that the coaches put in to developing the students that train with them is unmatched. Two of my kids had been participating in Jiu Jitsu for about a year and a half in Japan and we had always intended to get the entire family involved. After moving to Hawaii from Japan. We did some searching and luckily we found K-Team. We were able to get the entire family of five enrolled with a schedule that worked for us because it aligned with my work schedule with an evening adult class following the kids class. Another great thing about K-Team is they have two locations one in Kaneohe near the Windward Mall and the other location on the Kaneohe Bay Marine Corps Base. My kids really love the kids class on the Marine Corps Base. Coach Jared is really good at keeping the kids motivated and engaged through the right balance of lessons mixed with competitive games. As a couple of white belts my wife and I have loved it so far. The coaches are passionate, easy to work with and happy to pass along their knowledge.
