I think they could put on a better show by either having drag performances or wrestling events. The drag shows are at least organized. The speakers blast music and announcements so loud it’s hard to even understand. The decibel meter on my phone went as high as the meter goes and listed the noise as something that will cause at least some permanent hearing loss (the sad thing is when not blasting the music, it’s entertaining and good choices until it gets turned up to levels the old speakers can’t handle…although The Recording Industry of America might have an issue with whole songs being played in front of a standing room only venue and not receiving the required royalties [yes I checked]). The venue is unheated so if you go on a cold winter night like 1-17-26 it will be just as cold inside as outside. The extra breaks for people to use the port a potty’s made waiting in the cold even more uncomfortable. And there don’t seem to be any rules the referees enforce at all…the referee is ignored and they’ll chase each other around the outside ring more than actually being in the ring. It would be more interesting if at least some basic rules were followed (but I kept hearing wrestler after wrestler say. “Let’s just get this over with and get paid and get out of here.”). It’s sad that with a few changes and updates this would be as good as going to Ohio Valley Wrestling just across the river in Louisville where the ticket price ($10) is the same.
