Sensei Bilek does an amazing job of hosting kids' birthday parties! Everything was seamless and easy, and he kept our group of mostly 7-year-olds entertained and fully engaged for the full 90 minutes of our son's party. I cannot recommend highly enough!

My 3 yr old had his first class last night and LOVED it. He is so excited for more classes! We have tried placing him in other activities but he is easily overwhelmed and becomes too anxious to participate. Yesterday he was focused and engaged. It was great to see!

We had our son's 6th birthday party here. The theme he chose was ninja-training. All the kids ages 3-8 had a BLAST. It was very active and the attendees got to use several different (safe) ninja weapons/tools. Pizza and drinks were included and my son was able to use a real ninja sword (with help from Sensei) to cut his birthday cake. They have several different fun and active themes for birthday parties to chose from. We would definitely consider having a birthday party here again.

At this time, in May of 2019, my review is only of the facility and my interaction with Sensei Bilek. TL;DR: This looks like a promising place to practice karate. This is the first establishment I visited to look into martial arts for my elementary school aged child. My choice was more motivated by the location and its proximity to home, work, and such. Considering that the location was the only factor, I was not expecting much. Also, the building facade and genetic signage on the building isn't as eye grabbing such as the ones that some of the stand-alone large karate and martial arts schools occupy. I'm a fool to think anything like that would matter. Sensei Bilek comes across as knowledgeable and studied. We were offered a tour and the place looks clean and well lit. I didn't notice an odor (such as I might expect in an area where people work out; like a gym). I was there for around 20-30 minutes; all the time asking questions or learning about the school's ideals, background, leveling system, class schedules, etc. I'm making it sound more complex than it is, but Sensei Bilek didn't seem anything other than accommodating. You can tell that it's a passion and not means to an end for him. He was even so helpful to offer suggestions on what to look for (and watch out for!) in schools as I compare them. The pricing seems reasonable but I have absolutely no frame of reference to judge it. It is straight forward though without hidden costs or updates. There are discounted rates that can work up to steep discounts when more than one of the same family is enrolled. The way it's set up where you can attend as many days in a well as you wish (like a gym) means that you can really get a tremendous value if you commit and work hard. I'll update the review if and when we enroll. P.S. There is a single one star review among the rest of the five stars. The one star was some guy flaming because someone, whom he incorrectly assumes is the owner of this location, cut him off in traffic. That's funny and sad at the same time.
