Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Louisville

I started training at this wonderful gym 7 years ago when I was 53 years old. I was a little worried because I had neck and spine surgery with a c4 C5 fusion in 2005. Fortunately for me, the Gracie Combatives program is so cooperative for the first nine months that I was able to regain much of my mobility back. God has restored freedom of movement that I never thought I could have, all the while having so much fun. No other exercises helped me as much as rolling around on the mat. I feel like I'm 12 years old. Come and have some healthy fun with us.

Allan and the team of qualified instructors that he has assembled never cease to amaze me. The care they give for their students would be hard to surpass. Get on these mats and stick around, and you soon become family. Great people to train with, knowledgeable and qualified instructors, clean gym, and a family environment. Hope to see you on the mats.

Our son started as a seven year old 5-6 months ago. We are so happy with our experience. I credit so much of his maturing to the work he’s doing in class. He’s really become so much more focused and in control of himself. The lessons are great, but what’s really extraordinary are the instructors themselves. They’re all so positive, encouraging, and terrific with children of all ages and interests. Highly recommend!

It was an incredibly enjoyable experience training at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Louisville. I would like to start by describing the gym itself: it is spacious, very clean, and equipped with new, high-quality equipment. The staff and coaching team are professional and extremely friendly, which made me feel comfortable from day one. The training structure is excellent—you know your personal training plan a month in advance, the coaches are highly professional, and their top priority is safety above all else.

I can't tell you how wonderful the Women Empowered and Combative programs are. My husband and I did the 10 day free trial and were blown away. The environment is supportive, safe, and focused on real life self defense strategies. Plus finding an all female program was icing on the cake. 2.5 years later we are now training in the Master Cycle program and learning something new every class!
