KENTUCKY TAEKWONDO

I have been a martial artist all my life, and this school is by far the best I’ve attended. It has a wonderful and encouraging staff, and the fellow students welcome newcomers with open arms. If you are looking to start your own Tae Kwon Do journey or continue one, I would highly recommend.

This has been the greatest investment for my kids. It has strengthened all aspects of their life. The instructors are phenomenal and care so much about their students, perhaps more than I have seen in any other extracurricular activity. The life messages they hear serve to strengthen the narrative you provide for life.

I've been training here for about four months, and I think Kentucky Taekwondo is something special. It has an exceptionally warm, supportive, and welcoming community of students. The instructors are really helpful and dedicated to teaching physical techniques and fitness, as well as resilience, confidence, and leadership. I've met a lot of great people here and always look forward to coming to practice.

My two children have been learning Taekwondo here for over four years. I’ve watched them grow from complete beginners to competing in national tournaments, making great progress not only in their skills but also in their physical fitness and mental strength. At this dojang, the coaches not only provide to they professional instruction but also continually encourage them to become better versions of themselves in life. I highly recommend this as the best Taekwondo school in the Louisville area.

It has been an amazing experience for my 9 year old so far! His confidence and skill have grown leaps and bounds in just a couple short months. The instructors have been incredible and patient, and can rally and instruct a rowdy group of kiddos, which takes a LOT of skill. The facility is clean and conveniently located in Crestwood, just outside Louisville. Parking can be a bit tricky but they are expanding to add more spaces, which is great! My father grew up doing Taekwondo, and so did my brother, so we are familiar with how other facilities (and even other countries) operate and do business. I have been so impressed with the organization and structure and integrity of this team! If you are looking for a fun summer activity that builds confidence, focus, skill, friendship and teamwork, this is the perfect place to see if martial arts is a good fit for your kid and family! The cost ranges, but the option we chose is roughly $150/mo, but you can always call for more accurate pricing info or visit their website. In comparison to other academies in the area, this is more than a fair price. I think of it as $35/week to help my kid be active and learn a new skill, and maybe even something he would like to stick with long-term. We are very happy with our choice to come here!
