Twyman Taekwondo Academy

Cannot recommend enough. My son is 4 and we enrolled him as soon as we could in the Chung do kids program. This is a really fun introduction class for the younger kids. The instructors are great and he absolutely loves coming. They’ve been welcoming from the start. We drive 25 minutes from prospect just to attend classes here. Highly recommend.

This program is great for ALL ages! The Masters and Instructors are especially great when dealing with the younger new kids. 3 of my kids have trained with them for years and absolutely love going to class each week! The martial arts skills they attain are accompanied by the friends they make, mentors they look up to, confidence they gain, and valuable life lessons they learn. Highly recommend!

You've passed the building if you live in Oldham County countless times, you glance at it and think oh, neat, bet they're having fun. Then you finally go with your dad and your son to see what it's all about and the little boy with the attention span of a gnat, little body control or self-discipline LOCKS IN. My boy absolutely blossomed. He's a young man who treats everyone with respect, gets himself ready in the morning at 8 years old (my moms know what I'm saying), a boy who jumps up to help whenever anyone needs it. The instructors are committed to both developing skills and young people into well rounded adults with discipline and self respect. We're here for as long as they'll have us.

My four sons and I train together and have been part of the Twyman Taekwondo family for 10 years. We love the Twymans, their art, and their teaching methods. Come for the challenge, to learn what you're capable of, to help your children develop character and the habits of mutual respect, and to have fun with some of the kindest people you'll ever meet.

Twyman academy is really great. Our son is 6 and has a lot of issues with focus and discipline and he just wants to mess around all of the time. He's getting better at these classes and is going to be testing for his yellow belt. The classes and teachers are great and the Twymans are great to work with and really know what they are doing. I believe they are a married couple who has been training and teaching together for over 20 years and it shows. They work well together to teach all of our kids and it's helping our son focus and become stronger and healthier. Would recommend to anybody of any age, but especially those with really young children.
