Excellent barbell club. The best community. I have made so many friends at Free State. It is the most friendly, welcoming, supportive, and fun training crew in New Hampshire. Everyone supports everyone and has fun. We have people aged teens through 50s training together. All the equipment you want is here.

Friendly and supportive crew, a genuine community of strength enthusiasts. Spend time here, it will shift your perception of what's humanly possible. It's one thing to see a video of Halfthor or Dan Bell moving insane weights on your phone, it's another thing to actually witness someone Deadlift 780lbs or Squat 1,000. The gym is focused primarily on powerlifting, but also has some strongman equipment and competitors here as well. If you want to get fit, there's plenty of options around, but if you want to get STRONG there's no better gym in New Hampshire.

This is a powerlifter's dream gym with tons of deadlift platforms, squat racks, bench presses, and the essential accessories like a leg extension, leg press, tons of heavy and light dumbells, and much more. Along with an awesome owner, community, and a reasonable price, and no contract payments with no strings attached per month

A great gym with a great environment and almost any equipment you could need as a powerlifter with plenty of options for strongman competitors and those from other lifting disciplines as well. As a nationally competitive strongman it is my primary training gym for over 90% of my workouts throughout the training season and in general. The gym is full of helpful people from the owners, to the various crews that train together there regularly, and just about anyone else you will meet in there. Nearly everyone is willing to help you or spot you as needed. I can’t say enough nice things about them all. My hope is that reading this will influence you in trying the gym out and meeting some of the people there hopefully to find a place to fit in and get very strong.
