Duke is the best trainer! I had no background in boxing, and he worked with me to make sure I felt comfortable with all the exercises. The gym is so clean and has a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I tried out my first class at Bout Boxing on DI a couple months back and bought a 10 pack membership after my first session. I was nervous to get back into working out, especially in a class setting, but Duke made it a super easy and enjoyable experience for me. He’s high energy, good vibes, a great coach, and really cares about teaching clients the right technique. For me, it’s the perfect 45 minute workout. Now, I’ve been going weekly. Highly highly recommend trying out Bout and taking a class with Duke!

I'm 40, I run and do yoga, and I needed to get out of my comfort zone. BOUT Boxing and Fitness is exactly what I was looking for. The classes are challenging, stress-relieving and super fun. Duke is an incredible trainer and coach. His workouts are strategic- no muscles are missed- he is skilled, patient, guides you to do the exercises correctly (no injuries!) and makes you want to come back. I feel stronger and more confident every time. Do it!

Bout Boxing is SO fun! Duke is a great trainer who really takes his time with each person in class to help with form and different movements. He’s so encouraging to everyone, from beginner to experienced. The classes are a full body workout with fun music that keeps you motivated! 10/10 would go back!

i’m awkward and don’t know how to move my body properly, so if you’re reading these reviews because you’re scared, just take it from me that it’s worth it to try. i’ve been taking private instruction from Duke for a month now. i wanted to box to work on my cardio health and have fun, but i’ve even already lost weight (wasn’t really a goal of mine but i’m pleased) and feel more fluid in my body. the gym: clean, open concept, welcoming, safe. i love the location too Duke: VERY patient. deserves a halo for the amount of patience. kind, respectful, professional, fun. i’m generally fearful of men and don’t want to be in mens’ spaces but boxing is very diverse and Duke is so genuine and good trainer
