Popped in quickly today to buy a new pair of sneakers, was really impressed by how organized the store was and how lovely the staff were. Thom helped me in the shoe section, easily the quickest and most seamless shoe shopping experience I’ve ever had. Calvin helped me at checkout and was great.

Awesome experience today in the bike section. Camille was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond making sure my daughter picked the right bike. The customer service in general was amazing and a breath of fresh air. Keep it up y’all!

The store looked good and tidy but my only issue was with my cashier ”teammate” (Tiffany)she wasn’t pleasant and very rude. I had just cashed out I bought 2 boots and a pair of shorts and because it was raining so heavily outside and there was a flash flood warning that everyone got because the notification floated throughout the store on phones. I simply asked is she had a trash bag so that my stuff didn’t get rained on because I was riding a bicycle. she ignored me at first so I asked again she said they didn’t have any in a condescending tone and manner and snarled I asked again and replied “So your saying in this whole entire store there’s no trash bags at all?”she then raised her voice at me and said “I said no I don’t have any trash bags” I then asked a young girl standing watching if there was by chance any trash bags and the cashier or “teammate” Tiffany raised her voice again to remind me how they don’t have any the young girl then said let me check the back for one and got me one after a few moments of waiting. I spend my money at this store very frequently but lately due to rude customer service I’ve not been going I don’t know where the ball dropped on basic customer service skills and customer support… really disappointed with my experiences here with “teammates” such as Tiffany but the young girl was great and sweet and helped me out.

Tall alternative white girl dogging us to put a phone number in asking if my family members had one. Weird and rude. Didn’t even know her lane was open as the light was off and she wasn’t talking or saying anything to us and we sat there confused looking for check out.

very overpriced compared to the actual brand store. Went in for Nike and they’re charging $90 for a pair of pants I can get for $30 at Nike and Tanger outlets when I try to go get shoes they are charging $110 for shoes that I can get at Nike for $35. This is a serious competitor issue with dicks and I have a feeling this is why they have declined in business, the actual store brand is not charging that much for their products. Dicks is probably in the business of third-party selling, which is why they have to jack the prices up so much to make a profit because half of it Goes of it goes to Dick‘s. I don’t think it’s worth it to shop at Dick‘s. I think it’s actually worth it to go to Tanger outlet and go to the actual store especially in these times when the economy is not in great places, we don’t have time to pay $110 towards a pair of pants when that’s our electricity bill. For $110 today I went to Nike and got two pairs of pants and two pairs of shoes. I understand that most of the rich people are in West Ashley, but to the ones that are comfortable in life just enough to get by. We don’t have time to spend that much money on one pair of clothes if Dick’s was really wanting to serve the community, they would do actual deals like Nike does Nike understand that nobody can pay that much for one item and they completely understand that charging that much for their brand would put them in a position like Dick’s Sporting Goods of going out of business. This is why the actual brands are making more money than the third-party sellers that are trying to up the price on their brands. I would seriously suggest you weigh your options as to what you can get for $110 at Dick‘s versus what you can get for $110 at the actual store that owns the brand. shopping is all about thinking smarter, not spending harder.
