⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If I could give more than 5 stars to Gabel Martial Arts – Summerville, I absolutely would! From the moment you walk through the doors, you feel like family. The energy is positive, encouraging, and full of life. The instructors truly care about each and every student — not just about their skills on the mat, but about who they are becoming off the mat too. My child has grown in confidence, discipline, respect, perseverance, and self-control in ways I never expected. They don’t just teach martial arts here… they build strong, kind, resilient kids. The environment is structured but FUN. The kids are learning valuable life skills while laughing, sweating, and having the best time. You can see the passion in every class. If you’re looking for a place that will pour into your child, challenge them, encourage them, and help them grow into the best version of themselves — this is it. We are beyond grateful to be part of the Gabel family! 💛🥋

My son has attended Gabel Martial arts since we moved to Summerville. Being a part of their martial arts family has been one of the best experiences of our lives. Master Gabel and his team teach and lead in a way that students learn, while additionally holding an incredibly high level of expectation and standard for their students. It’s been such a rewarding to watch not only my son grow through the ranks, but seeing others of all ages achieve great things and grow. I would unequivocally recommend Gabel Martial Arts and can’t understate the positive impact they’ve had on my son and our entire family on so many levels.

So far we are really enjoying our experience with Gabel Martial Arts! We attend the Summerville location. We did the free trial at first (which is a 10 day pass! That is amazing compared to typical trial periods). While in the trial I realized there were Martial Arts schools much closer to us, in the North Charleston area so we considered not signing up but we just fell in love with the environment here. It’s worth the drive for us. From day one when we came in, we were greeted with a friendly welcome and they call my son by his name! I love that. The other parents are all so nice and friendly, too! Each of the instructors and helpers are attentive and help out with the kids all during class. They pay attention if a child is a little lost/behind or not focused and they helpfully encourage them and assist with the moves. My son is only 3 (almost 4) so a little young but I can see he has made some improvements since day one. We can’t wait to see all that he achieves with Gabel. He just loves coming to class each week! We are new in Charleston and SC so we don’t have a social circle for our kids or ourselves! So we wanted to get him involved in something. Also another thing I really love is how they meet 4 days a week for my son’s group and we can pick any 2 days out of the week to bring him. We aren’t restricted to a certain day! So if he misses a class he can still come a different day that week. I highly recommend this program!

We signed our son up for the 10 day trial in January and did the full signed up on the second day; their class and origination is that great! We even started him in the after-school program that provides transportation from the school to their facility! The instructors and staff here are amazing at what they do! Thank you Gabel, we're proud to be part of your program!!

My 3-year-old and 6-year-old have been attending Gabel Martial Arts since June of last year. My oldest son started out very shy, and I hoped this would help him to gain some self confidence. Little did I know that being a part of the Little Dragons Taekwondo class would help him in so many areas and inspire him as much as it does. He’s become passionate about taekwondo, to the point where he wants to become an instructor himself when he grows up. I love seeing the confidence he’s developed, and how he’s started to overcome his shyness. He went from being afraid to participate to volunteering and becoming an active participant in the class. He especially loves Ms. Cindy, she’s kind of become a household hero for our family. I can’t recommend Gabel Martial Arts enough.
