Brand new place, super clean, amazing mats, and even better people! They also have a nice coffee station, full bathrooms, and a small display with Gracie Barra products to buy and take home. It's my go-to spot for top-notch jiu-jitsu training. Nika, Rodrigo, Maria, Lau and Thomas are knowledgeable, supportive, and passionate about helping you improve. A big shoutout to GBF - all women's classes! Girls, come check it out and learn how to defend yourselves. Can't recommend enough!

Professor Rodrigo Fajardo and his wife Nika Schwinden are the two most accomplished black belts in the Charleston South Carolina region. Both have won world titles at the highest level. That being said the environment and culture they have created is perfect for ANYONE looking to start training Jiu Jitsu. From kids to adults, white belt to black belt, this is a family friendly environment that prioritizes safety and clean training facilities. Their family and students from Brazil came to Charleston to help jumpstart this academy. They are all amazing people with a deep love and understanding of teaching Jiu Jitsu to everyone. Charleston is lucky to have this world class instruction.
