Got the opportunity to visit when traveling for work this week. Mike (Owner) openly welcomed me to swing through anytime. Greg’s class was well-structured allowing room to review techniques, drilling, and live rolling. The atmosphere and culture they are building at Holy City Jiu-Jitsu is unmatched. From Black belts to White belts, everyone was respectful, supportive, and brought a friendly down to earth energy. This is a great competitive school in the Charleston area. If you are from out of town or just looking to start then I highly recommend giving them a try. I will happily be returning next time I am in town.

I had an incredible time at Devine JJ in Charleston! Space was clean and the instruction was great. Thank you Jeff and Mike for letting me train with your guys and for the awesome rolls. I highly recommend anyone interested in jiu jitsu or looking for a place to train while traveling to visit this gym!

Friendly, welcoming gym for practitioners of all ages and levels. All the black belt instructors roll with the students, and while classes vary in structure there is always lots of time allocated for sparring. Kids class is offered Mondays and Thursdays and it’s a very family friendly environment. Highly recommend checking out Holy City Jiu Jitsu.

I was in town for vacation and went to Holy City Jiu Jitsu for a drop-in class. Young was very helpful and was a great coach. I definitely felt welcome. Great spot!

I'm visiting from out of town and just dropped in on a fundamentals class this morning. I just have to say what incredible instruction and class structure. The community here is super welcoming and awesome and generous and I'm so grateful that I got to come in and get some rolls in :)
